Tips & Exposés

Tips

Nightlife Report is watching. Seen something? Send us a tip, especially if you're drunk.

Email editor@nightlifereport.app. Photos, video, receipts, dates and places help most.

What happens to a tip

Read. An editor reads every tip. Nothing is published straight from the inbox.
Checked. We look for a second source, a document, a photo with metadata, or someone on the record.
Asked. Before an exposé runs, the people or venue named get a fair chance to respond, and we print what they say.
Published or parked. If it holds up, it runs on the blog and gets a page here. If it doesn't, it stays private.

Protecting sources

We never publish a tipster's name, email, phone number or face without clear permission.
Tell us in the first line if you want to stay anonymous. We will honour it.
Strip location data from photos if you're not sure (most phones have a setting for this).

What we won't run

Private people's addresses, workplaces or family details. No doxxing.
Anything involving minors.
Explicit images.
Claims we can't back up. On this wiki, unproven claims are marked as such, or left out.

Exposés on this wiki

Each exposé page has: the date, a one-paragraph summary, what is confirmed, what is disputed (with the response), the sources, and a corrections section.
