How to contribute

From Nightlife Report Wiki
Contributing
The wiki is edited by approved contributors. Anyone can read it; editing needs an account from the desk.

01—Get an account

Email editor@nightlifereport.app with the name you want to edit under and one line about what you cover (venues, fashion week, music, photography). Accounts are created by an administrator; there is no open sign-up.

02—Before you write

  • Read the Nightlife Report style guide.
  • Search first. Add to an existing page before starting a new one.
  • Public figures only, in their public role.

03—Sourcing

  • Every fact needs a source: a published story, an official listing, a photo or video with a date, or a named person on the record.
  • Cite with <ref>…</ref> and put <references /> under a Sources heading.
  • Add the date you checked each source: (checked 19 Oct 2026).
  • Rumours go to the desk as a tip (Tips & Exposés), not onto a page.

04—Page layout

<div class="nr-eyebrow-wiki">Venue</div>
<div class="nr-lede">One-sentence summary.</div>

== What to know ==

05—Review

New pages and big edits are checked by an editor before they're featured. Use the edit summary to say what changed and why. Mistakes get fixed in public: add a line under Corrections with the date.

06—Talk

Disagreements go on the page's Discussion tab or on the forum, not in edit wars.

Nightlife Report is watching. Seen something? Send us a tip, especially if you're drunk. editor@nightlifereport.app
